Keep Your Kettlebell Chalk Hand Strong

Chalking your hands is one of the most important things you should do before starting a Kettlebell workout. Chalk will save your hands. Chalk will drive your better half, or roommate, crazy because of all the unmanageable white dust left behind but — “making it snow” — is one of the delights about chalking up your Kettlebell hands!

Don’t use gloves. Use chalk. Don’t tape your hands. Use chalk.

You are not weak if you chalk up. Chalk it up to being proactive. You’ll still get calluses if you chalk, but your grip on the bell handle will be more forgivable, and if you hands tend to sweat, chalk is the remedy to any slippage you may encounter.

Don’t be shy with the chalk.
