Counting Kettlebell Dice Reps

When you’re in the middle of a Kettlebell routine, it can be frustrating to lose your rep count. You’re busy watching your heart rate. You’re working on recovering your breath. The last thing you want to do is pick up a pen and write down on chalky paper how many times you’ve lifted, and then count the hash marks to make sure you’re finished.

I use a simple method of counting reps using dice! I have 10 dice and I stack them, one-by-one, after each rep to create a fun geometric design. A Kettlebell workout works best in sets of 10 for easy, if mindless, counting. These Vegas dice are hearty, and they don’t care about my chalky hands, and even if my fingers are trembling because of focused, and enforced, grip, I can always pick up a single die and set it down for the count.

The dice win the workout!
